Frederik joined OCP Asia in October 2022 as Legal Counsel, responsible for firmwide fund, regulatory and compliance initiatives. Prior to joining OCP Asia, Frederik worked as legal counsel at Oaktree Capital Management in Singapore and Luxembourg where he was responsible for its distressed debt strategy for more than six years. Prior to Oaktree, Frederik held various roles in the legal practices of Loyens & Loeff, Vandenbulke as well as Arendt & Medernach in Luxembourg.
Frederik holds a LL.M. in Finance and Securities Regulation from Duke University of Law (2012), a Master of Tax Law from KU Leuven Belgium (2010) and a Bachelor of Law from FUNDP Namur Belgium (2005).
