Il Yong joined OCP Asia in August 2011 and became a Senior Portfolio Manager in 2020. Prior to joining OCP Asia, Il Yong spent three years at York Capital Management in Hong Kong where he worked on generating and monitoring investment ideas across the Asia pacific region. Prior to joining York Capital Management in 2008, Il Yong spent two years as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong.
Il Yong holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Chicago (2006).
